Adv Salian completed his Bachelor of Law degree in 1991 and since then he is an Advocate with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. In June, 1997 he became a Solicitor with The Bombay Incorporated Law Society. In August 1997 he joined M/s. Gagrat & Co as an Associate and in 2007 became the partner. In October, 2013 he started his own law firm.
His areas of practice are Real estate, litigation and dispute resolution, NCLT, testamentary matters, Intellectual property rights, matrimonial and family laws and taxation laws, including corporate litigation, arbitration, documentation, direct and indirect tax, land revenue laws, rent Act, Writs, disputes under Co-operative Housing Societies laws, Banking and Finance, various Property laws, redevelopment projects of housing societies and slums, testamentary, commercial litigations and various other litigation and has represented numerous arbitration proceedings before arbitral tribunals as well as before Hon’ble Bombay High Court, Bombay City Civil and Session Court, Tribunals including NCLT and other subordinate Courts.
Apart from the above, he deals with all types of business disputes. He recommends Alternate Dispute Resolution methods to our clients. Where disputes can be resolved without having to go to Court or appointing an independent Arbitrator, he seeks to persuade clients to settle in their own interests so that no time and effort is wasted in obtaining a Judgment or Award. Our firm acts for and against businesses and companies in claims arising from the breach of contract, fraud, commissions, sale of businesses and dissolution of Businesses and disputes of partnership and property Disputes.
On questioning him about the product, he says that he for a long time was thinking of a product where things can be resolved mainly through Mediation and Arbitration without the presence of the parties. 1. Free legal aid (by law blocks team): Law blocks provide free legal aid for small and medium values disputes. There is a permanent team of legal experts from different countries who are on the board of law blocks, to provide free legal services to the law blocks community — upload your query and find resolution in 24 hours.
2. Community resolution by mass voting democratically: An online dispute resolution mechanism where members of the community can participate in the decision-making process, designed to resolve disputes. The aggrieved parties can vouch for dispute resolution democratically, in such cases, a community of voters can vote for either of the parties & resolve disputes at the earliest.
3. Mediation and/or Arbitration for resolving disputes by Legal Experts: Online dispute resolution mechanism where experts who are members of the legal experts, mainly lawyers, arbitrators, solicitors, attorneys, and experts in ADR selected by the parties can participate in the dispute resolution, such experts are trained from organization all around the world.
